Mahatma Gandhi A Great Legend - The Father Of Nations

A Brief History

Gandhi the great legend was born on 1869 in Porbandar in Gujarat state. He was born in a merchant class. He was married to Kasturbai at the age of 13. He pursed his law in London at the time of 1888-1891. Before leaving India he promised his mother that he will not take meat, alcohol, and sex. Returning to Mumbai Gandhi took his first case and lost the case. Then his uncle packed him to South Africa in 1893 to work for an Indian merchant who had a civil suit.

Gandhi's Fight for Indian Freedom

At last Gandhi returned to India in 1915. Instead of breathing his work he planed to go around India to have a personal experience about his own country. But he found that the country was in poverty and ignorance and some apathetic was ruling the country.

As a true Indian he set up sabarmati ashram near ahemdabad and lived there fighting for the freedom of the nation. He fought for the country with non-violence. His quite and peaceful attitude made people praise as the Father of the Indian nation.

Gandhi dedicated his life to discover the truth. He followed this in his life by learning from his own mistakes. He has stated all his own experiments of the truth in his autobiography called as “The story of my experiments with truth”
